Alexander Haimovich is the Ying Wu Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NJIT. He is a Fellow of IEEE. For more than 25 years, his research spanned topics in radar and wireless communications. His current research interests include multi-sensor radar, compressive sensing radar, geolocation in multipath, and blind signal separation. Below are two of his DoD-funded projects.
- End-to-end learning of waveform and detector in radar systems – a machine learning approach to radar system design.
- Blind separation of wireless signals over fading channels – a dictionary learning based approach to separation and estimation of mixed wireless signals.
