About Teaching Assistants: Teaching Assistants (TAs) play an integral role in the realization of the ECE department's goal of enhancing and assuring student success in academic programs…inspiring engineers who will become leading contributors to the global society.

TAs are PhD students with work assignments that range from teaching courses to assisting the department with special projects. Their work is also important for their long-term career trajectory. Working as a TA sets one apart from other PhD students as it allows for teaching experience, contact with the undergraduate class, and a chance to handle responsibility.
