Associate Professor Timothy Chang has received the $640,000 NSF Award Grant  for his work on a tool to speed up cancer diagnosis and treatment. "This could make it affordable for every hospital to have the technology to make a diagnosis on-site," Chang said. Chang's system also would allow researchers to share their results through the Internet, with the goal of better diagnosis and treatment.
